Architecture, ritual, and a city built on routine.
Working between Milan and New York since 1993, Locatelli moves fluidly between architecture, exhibition design, retail environments, and furniture. From the restoration of Milan’s monumental complex at Piazza XXV Aprile to shaping fashion spaces for houses such as Missoni and Jil Sander, his practice unfolds where architecture meets image, movement, and cultural identity.
In his Milan, mornings begin at Sissi, afternoons pass through the Triennale and its Bagni Misteriosi, and evenings settle into Trippa or La Latteria. Museums such as Casa Museo Boschi di Stefano and Bagatti Valsecchi stand alongside Gio Ponti’s Torre Branca, while ateliers like SAB and Retori reflect the city’s enduring devotion to craft.
A Milan shaped by architecture, fashion, and memory; seen through the lens of one of its most thoughtful creative voices.
